Chamber's Stance on Health Care Reform
U.S. Chamber SBN
Please visit http://www.uschamber.com/issues/index/health/default to learn more about health care reform the U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports.
The Chamber believes health reform is critical to the business community -- businesses voluntarily pay over $500 billion every year for employees' health insurance, and cannot afford the cost increases. We support reforming the health system with a simple three-pronged approach:
1. Get Costs Under Control
2. Reform the Insurance System
3. Create a Vibrant Marketplace

SBN: You are forgetting number 4. Not including people in the system who don't belong in it. Liberals are planning an amnesty program to bring in 10's of millions of new dependents to offset the loss in votes of older citizens who will be loosing major medical benefits. Basically, liberals use our tax money and other "contributions" to the government to buy votes to keep them in office. IT MUST END.
I propose a consumer buyer's strike until 2010 elections are over, plus decrease withholding, and possibly asking all USCC members to withhold contributions for a month as the election comes closer to show our collective power.
Cancel newspaper and print media to blunt their propaganda. Ignore network news. I've been to Asia over 12 times, to Russia and formerly East Germany - I recognize propaganda when I see it.
