HEALTH CARE MESS
MARKUS CANO
AFTER SEVERAL CONVERSATIONS WITH PERSONAL FRIENDS THAT ARE DOCTORS IN VARIOUS FIELDS, OBGYN, NEUERO, ETC. THEY ALL SAY ONE THING IN COMMON...THIS NEW "AGGREGATE PLAN" IS TO PUT THE DOCTORS OUT OF BUSINESS AND TO HAVE THEM GET HIRED BY A HOSPITAL FOR A "SET OR FIXED SALARY" AND TO POCKET AS MUCH MONEY FROM THE HEALTH CARE PLAN AS YOU CAN THAT WILL TRICKLE DOWN FROM THE GOV'T TO THE HOSPITAL. THE INTEREST IS NOT SAVING LIVES IT'S SAVING MONEY. MY DEAR FRIEND WHO IS A CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON PUT IT THIS WAY, AND I QUOTE: "IF YOU WERE TO GO THE ER TODAY AND YOU NEEDED A BYPASS ASAP YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO GET IT TODAY IF PROPERLY INSURED ETC, IN THE NEXT NEXT 2-3 YRS GOOD-LUCK, BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE ALL ABOUT $ NOT THE HEALTH OF THE PATIENT". THIS IS DOWN RIGHT SCARY.
IF YOU KNOW OF ANY HEALTH CARE PROS. ASK THEM ABOUT "AGGREGATE CARE" THAT'S WHAT THE DOCS KNOW THE PLAN AS, WE KNOW IT AS THE "MEDICAL HOME" PLAN.

One doctor that I spoke with said and I quote "when there is profit motive in healthcare, that is the number one concern for the doctor, number two is the patient."

Marcus: I think your gripe is with insurance companies! They raise rates NOT becuz of rising costs; they do it 1) becuz they can and 2) in order to keep their profit percentage HIGH!! Notice they are increasing preimuims NOW in anticipation of higher costs 3 years from now. That's three years of massive profits and burdensome increases to insurees for something that hasnt even happened yet!
Premiums increases have no relation to insurance costs, malpractice claims etc.

The problem with healthcare does not start in the last 5 years. It starts when healthcare was not considered a national asset and a national emergency. We are now in a place where lack of access to affordable healthcare is keeping American citizens dependent upon Medicare and Medicaid. Gross profiteering by insurance, educators, administrators, and supply companies in the health industry are fully responsible for bringing the market to a point so far past what it will take they should be in prison - ALL OF THEM. When the sky is the limit, you are finding out what happens when you get past the level that has oxygen - you are running out of air.
