Labor Unions Against EPA Regulations Too
U.S. Chamber SBN
As this article from Portfolio.com (http://www.portfolio.com/views/blogs/capital/2011/03/14/unions-call-for-obama-to-back-off-greenhouse-gas-regs) points out, labor unions are strongly opposing the EPA's proposed regulations on greenhouse emissions.
Confirming our projections, labor organizations are vehemently warning Congressional Democrats and the White House that the EPA's regulations could cost Americans thousands of jobs.
With strong words of warning coming from both ends of the spectrum, why aren't Democrats and the White House acting to rein in the EPA?

So, the labor unions are coming on board opposing the EPA green house regulations because they will cost thousands of American jobs. It is about time that the unions begin to understand what creates jobs and what destroys jobs. Maybe they will begin to understand that the Democratic liberals are not the friends that they thought. The very bedrock of the economy and job creatioin is energy and resource development. And, America right now is not producing either. We give money to both Mexico and Brazil to develope their oil industries and President Obamas says, "we will become your best customer." Just a few days it was on the internet, "Canadian essential for America's security." A receent study by the University of Alaska determined that the shut down of oil production in Alaska has cost 50,000 jobs. I believe that it has been stated that the shut down has cost close to 150,000 jobs nation wide. These are all high paying union jobs. The timber industry has been virtually eliminated by environmental regulation. More high paying union jobs. Mining has been virtually eliminated in this country, union jobs. No mining where is the iron ore to come from for a steel industry. More union jobs. I could go on and on. I will end this by telling the labor unions and their union bosses, "You people are backing the wrong horse. If you want jobs you should re-think your position."
