You couldn't be more wrong on healthcare. The US performs only slightly better than Cuba in overall outcomes...only Cuba spends about 5% what we do. Your position is based on willful Republican ignorance and disregard of the public interest. I DO hold it against you AND your members. http://www.seconnecticut.com/healthcare.htm

The U.S chamber of commerce represents the interests of greed and corruption. Some years ago the government of China was discussing implementing new labor laws aimed at protecting the common worker protecting him and her from severely unsafe working conditions resulting in injury, death and serious illness. illness. Guess who opposed these these life saving reforms? You've got it, the US chamber of commerce.

The Chamber of Commerce is trying to hire a biased economist to dispute the healthcare reform bill so they can
use his/her "talking points" for fundraising for their lobbying efforts to get healthcare reform defeated. What a bunch of phonies! They don't represent small business owners like myself who desperately need to find lower costs for insurance premiums and better coverages. Health insurance reform benefits all taxpayers who have been paying higher taxes for the uninsured every time they go to the emergency room for
medical treatment. The public option would be funded by
the premiums NOT BY TAXES!!! Don't you get it?? Healthcare costs are currently the biggest domestic drag to this ailing economy. Whose interests do the Chamber really represent? Surely not the American people and small business owners.

Congradulations on the passage of the health reform bill by the House. I sincerely hope that the Senate will pass the bill. So many of us are glad that Americans who deserve to be covered by health insurance, may finally get coverage
