Does anyone have experience using sales lists? What was your conversion rate?

check out ellipsis dive (www.ellipsisdive.com). it works just like a search engine and you can find extremely targeted lists.

no but we have been offered list by serveral companys in mlm lead systems, but you have to join their system to actually see if it works & they're all about $39-$49 a month. That's a lots of money for the small business especially when you're just starting out with no capitol & you have your own obligations to keep your business going. If anybody know a better & cheaper way I would love to hear it. I'm in MlM Health & Wellness I have a website but need to get traffic to it.

I couldn't agree with you more Stu Marks - I am also convinced that they can be either a blessing or a curse.

I have used lists extensively. I am convinced that they can be either a blessing or a curse and one doesn't know into which system one has plugged until after the process has started.
We feel that several list generation companies use too much coercion to harvest their info. This results in too high of a ratio of uninterested leads for which one pays.
And the landscape is not a constant. A company that was a breath of fresh air over the rest can start turning out "dead" lists over night. The trick is on trying more than one source and making use of their customer service promises as needed.
Like any marketing tool, stay with it for a measurable amount of time, several weeks or even months. And, remember that the fortune is in the follow-up.
