How will Card Check affect my business
Robert
My business has 5 employees and they are not unionized. How will the EFCA legislation I keep hearing about affect us if passed?

From a TEANSTER COMMITTEE MAN
Looks like a group of union supporters (goons)have beseiged the web site
Taking away an employees right to a private ballot vote by all the employees of a company is not good for anyone. Much less the country. THIS IS WHAT THE "CARD CHECK" BILL DOES.
The state oif Wisconsin has saved MILLIONS by being able to put insurance out to bid and not having to but the overpriced union insurance
Union members, check the ballance of the pension funds, the leaders are taken care of and you are being left out to dry. I doubt the info they send you is correct, most are actually uside down.

your trying to Bust the unions, you are the union of Big Busness, removal of the Middle class would make this a communist contry rulled buy the big bussness. At Diana, Unions built this contry, make our jobs safer. yes we need to police the unions just like we need to police the goverment.(and now apparently the chamber) but do not think that doing away with unions is a good thing. We need jobs with good pay and good benifits, other wise we all endup poor.

The problem is unions, keeping our labor costs too high. Labor unions only get in the way now, not necessary.

Why does the Chamber not speak out for saving American jobs? Saving good, family supporting, tax paying jobs - that fuel the American economy? Why are they not saved ...from outsourcing? Who among you supports this policy? And where do you think highly educated, now unemployed, IT people will get jobs in the US? I do not want to move to Bangalore India to work for an American company.

How dare you people funnel money into politics from FOREIGN COUNTRIES!! You should be protecting American jobs, not creating some sort of money laundering scheme to help one political party and hurting American jobs at the same time,. Maybe you people should take a good hard look in the mirror.

The Chamber of Commerce is no more for commerce for the people of the United States as China or any other foreign government. You are to busy trying to keep Unions from coming into your town. If you spent the money to promote businesses in your towns and convinced your local governments to do the right thing as for as local taxes are concerned you could bring manufacturing and other jobs from overseas back to the states. But it is more important to the Chamber to advertise a Union Free state than the right thing.

The Global Jobs growth of the so called American Chamber of Commerce is as un-American as the Chamber is. You and your foreign contributors are taking down this government and this country. You want to destroy the working and middle class of this country under the guise of tax breaks for the rich. For the last nine years, the rich have benefitted from the Bush tax cuts and lost millions of jobs in the process and you want more of the same. I intend to do everything I can in my 75th year as a woman whose forebears were fired for trying to form a union and to think I have lived to see the day that the Chamber of Shame would be promoting the same thing in the year 2001 disgusts me. I will never give up fighting for the rights of unions until my dying breath and I intend to keep broadcasting your anti american propoganda at my local City Council meeting to-night. It is time for the Chamber to get out of our city's business.
