Historic Marcy Store & Diner
Owner: Cynthia Myers
Location: Ohio
There has been a store on this corner since the 1800's. Then it was the center of town for Marcy, OH. Although the present building was built in the 60's, Marcy continues to be a focal point in the community. Farmers come in every morning for coffee. People come in and hang hand-made signs for pets lost or found, even people lost or found. People travelling to So Central, OH for the first time often meet at Historic Marcy Store & Diner because you can't miss it. See, other than one house,a church and lots of farmland, the Diner is the only thing left of the Village of Marcy. We've employed people in the community, provided food for weddings or funerals, and always have a shoulder and an open heart if someone needs it.
