The Seven B's V, is an 80 foot yacht, customized for small and large groups that like to fish in comfort, or for Private Charter. Family owned and operated. Capt. Russ Benn is a 45 year veteran of the waters around Point Judith and a 3rd, generation "Benn" to have his captain's license.
He is a pioneer in the local fishing community, being the one who started 1/2 day Fluke (summer flounder) fishing, and the first Party Boat to fish for Porgies (Scup). His attention to detail is quite evident from the cleaniness of his vessel and, the way that his mates cater to the guests. Captain Benn and his family beleives in giving back to the community, and "paying it forward" offering fishing trips to orphanges, foster, inner city, under privileged, and children who's parents have been deployed over sea's,at no charge to them, along with a free lunch for all.
As Capt. Benn says "we live in the Ocean State, and some of these kids, have never been on the water,on a boat, let alone fishing - I've had kid's come back years later with their family's, to experiece the same things they did - there is no way better feeling, no better thank you, than that - to know you made a difference, and that there IS something else out there. We have a couple of logo's we use ---Seven B's v - the only good addiction, and Experience makes the difference!
Capt. Benn carries on a family tradition , and plans to continue as long as there are fish to catch and people who want to fish.
