DonahueFavret Contractors Inc. is a general contracting firm located in Mandeville, Louisiana, just 30 miles north of New Orleans. Our firm's foundation is built on honesty, integrity, quality craftsmanship and timeliness of construction.

In 1979, John “Jack” Donahue, Jr. left his family’s construction firm to begin his own. Today, DonahueFavret Contractors builds throughout the entire Gulf South region. Our experience and reputation have earned us the opportunity to work for some of the most discerning and professional clientele, such as Tulane University Hospital & Clinic, HCA, Target Stores, Lowe’s, and the school boards in Orleans, St. Tammany, St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes.

Together, we have an effective management team combined with solid financial strength. Jack leads DonahueFavret Contractors as Chairman of the Board, while John Donahue III serves as President and CEO of the firm and Maura Donahue is Executive Vice President.  Also serving as Vice Presidents are Aaron Bradley and David Dupré.

Today, DonahueFavret Contractors has an annual volume of $66 million. Together with a staff of 47 employees, the partners remain wholly committed to the success of the region, serving as active members in local, regional and national organizations such as Associated Builders and Contractors, Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, Blueprint Louisiana, and the United States Chamber of Commerce. Jack Donahue also serves as State Senator representing District 11 on the Northshore.
